The Second Announcement

Dear Members of ISA:

　The content of the conference includes two parts, one is the International Seabuckthorn Forum and the other one is the Annual Board Meeting. The forum will be held whole day on April 28, 2008, which has an urgent call for the topics of your presentation sent to the ISA secretariat as soon as possible. The annual board meeting will be generally arranged on April 29, 2008, the topics on ISA Council and the preparing progress of the ISA 2009 conference will be discussed in the morning, and Scientific Committee Meeting will be going on in the afternoon, but it will be continued to next morning if time is not enough for discussion. The key points are as follows:
1.To discuss the matters of “the application guide for membership of  International Seabuckthorn Association Appendix).
2. To discuss the preparation for ISA 2009.
Report on the progress of preparation job for ISA 2008 by Russian;To confirm the key topics of ISA 2009, conference content, programme and the budget;The agreement of host for ISA 2009 conference will be signed by the President of ISA.
3. To have a discussion on “the constitution of the Scientific Committee of ISA Appendix).
4. To discuss the matters regarding to the ISA board committee and the regulation of its members.
With the new problems and development emerging of international seabuckthorn, and the absent of some members for council meetings, it is necessary to do some changes on the membership.
5. To discuss the matters of the organization for Scientific Committee of ISA, especial to its function and mission, as well as the activities of cooperation.
The members of Scientific Committee settled in seven fields already on theISA 2007 of Canada, will be furthermore perfected and completed, the Director of Scientific Committee and two deputy-Director will be selected down on the meeting.
To discuss the way that how to bring the members of Scientific Committee into play, and how to supervise and manage to the Scientific Committee.
6. To discuss the matters of ISA Conference in 2011.
